Andrea D. McGary, Managing Attorney

Firm founder and principal attorney Andrea D. McGary is licensed to practice by both the State Bar of California and the Louisiana State Bar.  She is also admitted to the United States Federal District Court for the Northern District California, United States Federal District Court for the Eastern District California, the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Tax Court.

Andrea McGary received her law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law where she graduated as a Public Interest Scholar.  Prior to attending law school, Ms. McGary received her bachelor of arts degree in Communications Studies from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Ms. McGary is also an adjunct professor at the John F. Kennedy University School of Law in Pleasant Hill, California.

Before starting The McGary Firm, Andrea McGary was a litigator with a high volume commercial law and civil litigation firm in San Francisco's financial district. She engaged in extensive motion, settlement, and trial practice in federal and state courts, including but not limited to appearances for motion hearings, mediations, arbitrations, case management and settlement conferences, civil trials, and limited appeals. She resigned the position to devote her time to the start-up of The McGary Firm.

Ms. McGary currently practices in the areas of commercial law, unsecured creditor claims, judgment enforcement, contract litigation, corporate law, tax controversies, real estate boundary and title disputes, and general civil litigation. Ms. McGary is a member of the American Bar Association ("ABA"), the American Bankruptcy Institute ("ABI"), and ACA International ("ACA").


Charlene L. Argate, Of Counsel

Charlene L. Argate is licensed to practice by the State Bar of California. Ms. Argate received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, San Diego in 2002. She subsequently received her law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2006. Ms. Argate graduated as a Public Interest Scholar and was also a recipient of the ABA BNA Award for Excellence in Labor and Employment Law, Honorable Mention.

Charlene Argate currently practices in the areas of judgment enforcement, commercial law, and creditors rights. Ms. Argate is a member of the American Bar Association, the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area, and the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California.


Daniel P. Iannitelli, Of Counsel

Daniel P. Iannitelli received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Psychology from Arizona State University in 1995. Mr. Iannitelli subsequently attended the University of San Francisco, School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, in 1999. While in law school, he served as an intern for the Honorable Sandra Brown Armstrong, in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. After law school, Mr. Iannitelli worked as a research attorney for the Santa Clara County Superior Court.

Prior to joining The McGary Firm, Mr. Iannitelli gained experience in commercial litigation, real estate litigation, personal injury litigation and construction defect litigation, first as a senior associate and later as a partner, with 2 San Francisco law firms.

Mr. Iannitelli currently practices in the areas of commercial litigation, construction defect litigation, and general civil litigation. Mr. Iannitelli is a member of the American Bar Association, and is fluent in Spanish.
